Enabling UAE & GCC citizens, and expatriate residents to avail key EIDA services

The application was developed to enable UAE Nationals, GCC citizens, and expatriate residents to avail key Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) services, namely:

• Apply to renew Identity Card

• Apply for new Identity Card

• Apply to replace Identity Card

• Track Application

The overarching objective was to provide users another mode or channel to conduct this mandatory requirement of registering personal information with EIDA in an efficient and timely manner. Specific targets were set for these services, such as streamlining the application process, i.e. reducing the time needed for individuals to submit their application; and streamlining the number of data fields in the form vis-a-vis personal data inputs and attachments.
