This book is actually more literary work than historical work

Al-Barzanji was originally the name of the person who composed the book of prose and poetry about the Prophet Muhammad. The book is actually more literary work than historical work, because it emphasizes the aspects of the beauty of language (literature). There are two kinds of books, one is arranged in the form of prose and other in the form of poetry. The contents are both telling the life history of the Prophet Muhammad, especially the events of his birth. Prose and poetry about the history of the Prophet Muhammad is often read in many Munasabah (momentum) such as the Prophet's Birthday even in the celebration of baby births in general. Of course activities like this have no orders from the Messenger of Allah, not even from the friends and generations afterwards. Because when he was still alive, this prose and poem were not yet compiled by Al-Barzanji.
